Gamma remote MCP connector
The Gamma remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector in Optimizely Agent Platform lets you generate, adapt, and organize visual content. Connect Gamma to Agent Platform to create and manage visual content without leaving your AI workspace. These tools connect directly to your Gamma workspace. Use them to create AI-driven presentations and webpages, remix templates for different audiences, apply custom themes, manage folders, and export your materials.
Note
The Gamma remote MCP is managed by Gamma. See Set up the MCP server in Gamma's developer documentation.
First, an Agent Platform administrator must Connect the Gamma remote MCP to Agent Platform. After adding the MCP server, individual Agent Platform users and agent builders log in to Gamma to access their information from Agent Platform. Administrators need to add the Gamma remote MCP only once.

Note
The first person to connect a third-party service to Agent Platform should be an administrator of that service. Administrator access installs the complete set of tools, so Agent Platform adds every available tool. If a non-administrator connects the service first, Agent Platform installs only the tools that account can access.
Agent Platform administrators connect and grant access to Gamma from Agent Platform. After granting access, administrators select which tools to enable in Agent Platform and optionally customize their display names.
Add Gamma connection
As an Agent Platform administrator, complete the following steps:
- Go to Connectors in Agent Platform.
- (Optional) Enter Gamma in the search bar to filter the connectors list.
- Click Connect on the Gamma tile.

- Log in to your Gamma account.

- Configure the connector.
- Click Allow.
Configure Agent Platform tools
After adding the Gamma connection, Mark prompts you to select which tools to enable and optionally customize their display names.
As an Agent Platform administrator, complete the following steps:
- Deselect any tools you do not want to add to Agent Platform.
- (Optional) Update any tool's display name.

- Click Finish.
The Gamma tile displays Connect on the Connectors tab for Agent Platform users to authenticate with their personal accounts.
To update the available tools or names, see Update tools.
Authenticate with Gamma
Each Agent Platform user and agent builder must log in to Gamma individually. User-level authentication ensures you can access only your authorized Gamma data.
Note
Before you begin, confirm that an Agent Platform administrator has connected the Gamma remote MCP to Agent Platform. Until an administrator connects it, the Gamma tile displays Contact admin instead of Connect and you cannot select it.
To authenticate, complete the following steps in Agent Platform:
- Go to Connectors > Connectors.
- (Optional) Enter Gamma in the search bar to filter the connectors list.
- Click Connect on the Gamma tile.
- Log in to Gamma.
After you connect to Gamma, the Gamma connector tools become available in Mark chat, agents, and workflows.
Gamma connector tools
Gamma connector tools are available after an administrator connects the Gamma remote MCP to Agent Platform and you log in to Gamma from Agent Platform. For a full list of available tools and actions, see Set up the MCP server in the Gamma documentation.
Update tools
To rename, add, or remove tools, an Agent Platform administrator must delete the Gamma tools registry and re-add it. To do so, complete the following steps:
- Follow the steps in Delete a tool registry.
