Web Manager
Use the Web Manager in Optimizely Opal to keep your website compliant and healthy without the manual grind. It audits pages for brand, legal, accessibility, and style compliance, monitors overall site health, and fixes recurring issues like broken links so your web team can focus on higher-value work.

What the Web Manager does
The Web Manager includes the following jobs:
- Perform audit compliance – Audits pages for brand compliance, legal compliance, style best practices, accessibility, and more.
- Manage site health – Manages overall website health, performance, and integrity.
- Manage website updates – Manages updates to the website, such as fixing broken links.
- Audit report actions – Manages the actions taken from within audit reports.
Each job is a workflow agent that performs on a schedule or trigger. Opal displays only the jobs an administrator turns on for your organization.
What the Web Manager needs
Connect to the Atlassian tools so the Web Manager reads and tracks the issues and actions raised from audit reports.
The Web Manager reads from the tools you connect and asks for your approval before it acts on your behalf. Opal displays only the tools an administrator connects for your organization.
How you receive its work
The Web Manager delivers its audit findings, site health checks, and update recommendations to you in a message.
See Team Messages overview.
Configure the Web Manager
An Opal administrator enables the Web Manager for your organization. You then name and configure your own. For the full steps, see Hire a Virtual Teammate.
Connect Atlassian during configuration, so the jobs have the data they need from the first run.
