Create content
Create content
Content can be pages or blocks in Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) or catalog entries in Optimizely Commerce Connect. This topic describes creating types of content in CMS.
Edit content using the TinyMCE rich-text editor
The TinyMCE rich-text editor is a property where you can enter information such as text with formatting, images, tables, and links to other content. The rich-text editor is used for both pages and blocks in Optimizely Content Management System (CMS), and for catalog content if you have Optimizely Commerce Connect installed.
Add links
Links are used on websites to link to content. The following link types are available by default in Optimizely Content Management System (CMS).
Add and edit images
A web page does not embed images. Instead, it links to the media library where images are stored.
Work with web forms
Web forms are excellent ways of collecting information and interacting with visitors to your website. Typical examples of web forms are polls and surveys, registration forms, and contact requests.
Optimizely Spellchecker for TinyMCE
The spellchecker verifies spelling in the TinyMCE editor. See also Edit content using the TinyMCE rich-text editor .
Optimizely user-generated content
Optimizely user-generated content (UGC) is a content discovery tool that can retrieve content from popular social sites (such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google) and embed the content into your website. Click Optimizely UGC in the global menu.
Edit multi-channel content in Optimizely
Developers can enable pure headless mode, letting you create only headless content in Optimizely Content Management System (CMS). The Multi-Channel Content gadget is the only gadget shown in the left-hand navigation panel (no Page tree navigation).
