Widgets in Optimizely Product Recommendations are components used for presenting product recommendations on your website. Each widget can have its own strategy to support the key performance indicator (KPI) you want to impact.
Algorithms for widgets
Algorithms determine which products a widget recommends. You can add up to 11 algorithms to a widget to support your recommendation strategy.
Quick filters for widget algorithms
Quick filters let you apply simple rules to an algorithm to further personalize the products the algorithm recommends for the widget. You can add up to ten of the following quick filters to an algorithm.
Advanced filters for widget algorithms
Advanced filters let you define your own rules for an algorithm to further personalize the products the algorithm recommends for the widget. You can use visual mode or code mode, which both use Structured Query Language (SQL).
Use DO_NOT_TRACK widget per-page type
You can configure and support multiple DO NOT TRACK (DNT) widgets for different page types in your site in Optimizely Product Recommendations. With a dedicated DNT widget tailored for each page type (like home, category, product, or custom pages), you can enjoy enhanced privacy compliance, improved widget management, and greater flexibility for complex site structures.
