Optimizely Recommendations is a suite of cloud-based products, combining machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical analysis. The Recommendations suite includes the following features Optimizely Product Recommendations Optimizely Email Product Recommendations (Legacy) Optimizely Personalized Search & Navigation Recommendations is based on a back-end service, tracking, and user interface components added to the website, and configuration keys for service access.
Install and configure Product Recommendations
To get recommendations running for a site, configure access to the tracking API to post usage data and get recommendations back. To install and configure, you need the configuration keys and credentials provided by Optimizely during onboarding of the service.
Native integrations
Native integrations add product-specific recommendation components for the Optimizely Customized Commerce and Optimizely Search & Navigation parts of the Optimizely platform. The recommendations functionality in Optimizely consists of a core recommendations system, and product-specific native integrations, which are a set of NuGet packages that you install for each part of the platform where you want to add recommendations.
Cancel orders
When a visitor creates an online order and then cancels it, you need to inform Optimizely of the cancellation. To cancel an online order, submit a POST request with an active session , a cuid , and an orderNo .
Recommendations UI in CMS
The Optimizely Recommendations Portal is the user interface (UI) for working with recommendations if you have Optimizely Product Recommendations, Optimizely Email Product Recommendations, and Optimizely Triggered Messages as part of your solution. Optimizely Recommendations supports only websites with Episerver.
