In Optimizely Commerce Connect, activity flows are used for validation and calculating totals in the checkout process. An activity flow is a container of steps, or activities, which can be executed.
CheckInventory activity
During checkout, activity flows check remaining item stock quantities and calculate cart totals. Optimizely Commerce Connect incorporates a check inventory activity into the activity flows.
AdjustInventory activity
During checkout, activity flows process payments, adjust item stock quantity, and record promotion usage. Optimizely Commerce Connect includes an adjust inventory activity that is incorporated into activity flows.
Customize order processing activity flows
To replace or customize an activity flow In a Visual Studio project, create and build a new activity flow. Add existing or new activities to it.
