Create sparklines
Sparklines are small, simplified graphs or charts you can combine to illustrate trends across multiple measures. To create sparklines in Analytics, complete the following Create an exploration of your choice or open an existing exploration within your dashboard.
Period-over-period comparison in explorations
Analytics lets you perform period-over-period comparisons within explorations. With this feature, you can compare the analysis results in the current period with any previous period (previous day, week, month, year, and so on) and understand how metrics have changed over time.
Sampling
Sampling is a query performance optimization technique that uses a representative sample of data for queries instead of the entire dataset. You can pick a fraction of the data in your dataset, run queries on it, and get highly accurate results instead of analyzing all the data in it.
