Optimizely offers many possibilities for controlling the editing process. Content is versioned, and you can preview and verify it before publishing, meaning specific content staging solutions are often unnecessary.
Sync content between environments
Select your project on the home page. On the project detail page, open the Deployments tab.

Deploy changes in DXP manually
Before starting a deployment, ensure the site in the source environment is running by accessing it in a browser. If the site has IP restrictions preventing you from navigating to it, ask the technical contact for the site to add your IP address to the exclusions list.
Export the database to Bacpac file
You can export the Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) or Optimizely Commerce (PaaS) database to a bacpac file using the API or the DXP Management Portal. When you export a database, it triggers an export job for the requested database.
Add app settings and connection strings
Use these steps to access the app settings Log in to the PaaS portal with your credentials. Select the project to manage.
Migrate to CMS 12 or Optimizely Commerce Connect 14
You can use the Project Migration tab to move to a project that supports . NET 6 for CMS 12 and Commerce Connect 14.
Demo sites
You can install the following sites to demonstrate Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP), Optimizely Content Management System (CMS), and Optimizely Commerce Connect (PaaS). When you install an Optimizely site through Visual Studio, you can install a CMS sample site to explore Optimizely.
Purge CDN cache
Purge CDN Cache clears cached content on server proxies so visitors can get the latest page versions. The purge CDN cache feature is available after a project is provisioned for the environment.
Restart a Web App
In some situations, developers want to restart a site so that changes for source code or configurations are reflected on the site. The Web App restart feature in the DXP Management Portal helps developers resolve those cases.

The Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP) provides convenient support for managing websites in the cloud and, at the same time, lets you have control over, for example, deployments and service usage. When onboarding DXP , Optimizely provisions the environments included in your order and provides your technical contact with the information and credentials needed to access information and deploy.
Troubleshoot DXP self-service
To enhance performance, scalability, and management, you should store content on DXP Web Apps using BLOB storage (and SQL database). The Web App's local file system is meant for code only , and normally does not have large amounts of disk space.
