Enable website-level search providers
Optimizely Configured Commerce lets you run a different Search Provider on individual websites, even when those websites share a single Search Indexer. This is a specific use case of migrating to Commerce Search v3.
Get started with search indexing
Optimizely Configured Commerce provides several ways to reindex your search engine as you make changes to your settings. There are several types of search indexing within Configured Commerce Product – Quick Rebuild (Partial) or Full Rebuild , which includes a cache refresh of the category menu, memory, catalog, and content.
Configure search
Optimizely Configured Commerce uses Elasticsearch, which provides many search capabilities for your website. You configure these search capabilities through the Admin Console to tune your search results.
Search settings
Optimizely Configured Commerce offers several settings for tuning and improving search performance. You must complete a full index rebuild to apply any changes to search settings.
Filter, search, and sort within results
You can filter an existing search query to refine the results based on various search terms and/or product attributes. Examples of common search filters are categories and important attributes.
Compare products
Optimizely Configured Commerce lets you compare multiple products side by side from a product list or search results page. There is a hard-coded default limit of six for the number of products customers can compare at one time.
