 A preview track is a named line of an Optimizely Connect Platform (OCP) app, such as dev/jdoe or beta/feature-x .  Deploying to a track builds and publishes your app in one command, so you do not edit the version field in app.

 Before you can publish and install your app, you need to know the tracker ID of the OCP account where you want to install the app.  Run the ocp accounts whoami command to list every account you can reach, grouped by organization.
