Send events with Optimizely Feature Experimentation
Feature ExperimentationFeature Experimentation is a feature flagging and experimentation platform for websites, mobile apps, chatbots, APIs, smart devices, and any other network-connected environment.
You can deploy code behind feature flags, experiment with A/B tests, and use percentage deliveries to roll out or roll back flags immediately. This functionality is available with microsecond performance impact through easy-to-use, open-source SDKs.
After creating an eventcreating an event in the Feature Experimentation UI, you can do the following:
- Implement a Feature Experimentation SDKFeature Experimentation SDK to track the event using the SDK's Track Event APISDK's Track Event API.
- Implement Optimizely AgentOptimizely Agent and track the event using the Agent APIAgent API.
After you implement events in Feature Experimentation, they are always active. An event starts sending data as soon as it is implemented, even if no experiments are currently running. You can review your experiment results on the Experiment Results pageExperiment Results page.
