PunchOut cXML overview
Optimizely Configured Commerce includes PunchOut functionality to work with procurement systems, acting as an alternate to a static catalog file. The Configured Commerce website then becomes available through the procurement system with a button, automatically logging the customer into the website to view their catalog and pricing.

PunchOut order message (cart information)

In addition to sending the cart information via cXML, this action also closes the User's site session.
Website features hidden while in a PunchOut session
Optimizely Configured Commerce defaults to hiding certain PunchOut features to maintain a streamlined shopping experience that prevents customers from leaving the commerce site. This helps with returning the commerce cart to the purchasing system.

User can view logging information around Configured Commerce processing of Order Request messages. This area is found in the Admin Console > Administration > PunchOut > Order Requests.
