Storefront lists
Optimizely Configured Commerce Spire CMS website lets you create lists and interact with them, such as adding tags, hiding or unhiding lists, favoriting lists, and printing barcodes. Select the box beside Edit Sort Order and use the Drag Sort Order icon to reposition the products as desired.
Create news list and articles
Use the News Page page type to add press releases, new product information, or other company news to your website. To create a news article, the user must have a content editor role, content approver role, or content administrator role assigned.
Create a layout template
Layouts allow you to create a template for a frequently used page type. To view Layouts in Content Admin, click Edit on in the upper-right corner of the page.
Add overlays
In Spire, you can add the following three overlays Sign In – Allow users to sign in without being redirected to the Sign In page. After a user logs in using the overlay, the page refreshes, and any current selections persist, such as product list filters.
Preview a revision
You can view new content changes before they are published by previewing a revision. Go to Admin Console > Library > Content.
Manage the content workflow
You can use the Optimizely Configured Commerce content management workflow to create, manage, and stage content for the website across your team. The content management workflow affects the following user roles CMS ContentEditor – The Content Editor may add and edit page content but cannot approve/publish content CMS Publisher – The Content Approver may approve and publish content but cannot add or edit content You can choose to assign users both the Editor and the Publisher role.
Image sizes for columns on pages
For large screens (desktops), here are the recommended max pixel widths for images to fill their column For mobile screens, columns stack so that everything becomes one column. Here is how the different image sizes display on small screens Images that are less than 410 pixels wide (height does not matter) do not fill their container on many mobile screens because columns have a max width of 410 pixels on smaller screens.
Modify error handling pages
Use error-handling page templates to provide contextual help or links to existing content for website errors. Optimizely Configured Commerce provides three standard error-handling pages 403 Unauthorized Access – The user does not have permission to view the requested file or resource.
Copy content between websites and environments
Use the Import/Export Content option in Spire CMS to transfer content between other websites and environments in Spire, like promoting content created in a Sandbox environment to Production. If you are working with subsites, be sure the subsite exists in both environments before migrating any content.
Reuse content
Use Shared Content widgets to create a piece of reusable content, like a promo banner, then easily add it to multiple pages as you edit them. Shared Content widgets provide a central location to edit widgets used across a site, allowing you to make updates in a single place.
Edit menus
When configuring a menu in Spire, you have more granular control over the links that appear and the style of the menus associated with those links. Each top-level menu item is added separately to the menu and can be configured with a different menu style, rather than configuring the entire menu as whole based on the site's page tree.
Filter pages
The Spire CMS Editor allows you to filter pages by various parameters. Optimizely Configured Commerce will filter the pages by the parameters you select.
Improve AI-readiness with llms.txt
Optimizely Configured Commerce automatically generates an llms. txt file within your site's Spire CMS.
