Translate product details
With Optimizely Configured Commerce, you can use Google's advanced Translations API to auto-translate text-based properties of a product in Product Details for your configured languages. Configured Commerce only supports languages supported by Google https //cloud.

You can auto-translate product content in Optimizely Configured Commerce using Google's advanced Translations API. This feature lets you translate all text in the Product Content field for your configured languages.
Get started with product configuration
Optimizely Configured Commerce includes multiple product configuration features. Using configured products lets you create bundles/kits or unique custom built products by selecting components.
Product visibility
Product Visibility in Optimizely Configured Commerce controls if a product can be purchased or configured as view only. Specific customers may be included or excluded from this option by creating a rule or selecting them individually.
Create a product
Creating products manually would not be considered the standard procedure, as this is normally handled via an integration job. However, it is possible from time to time, that a small number of products would need to be added temporarily.
Create fixed product configurations
Often, preconfigured kits and bundles are stored in a company's ERP or PIM system. However, there may be occasions where it is necessary to create a permanent or temporary kit and bundle, known in the Admin Console as a fixed configuration.
Product accessories
Add Accessories to a product to encourage website users to purchase related items. For example, if the product is a mobile phone, assign the phone's charger and a compatible case to the product as accessories.
Use AI to rewrite product descriptions
If you have products with identical descriptions or thin or missing product descriptions, you can use AI in Optimizely Configured Commerce to rewrite the descriptions by leveraging your product catalog data. This helps encourage Google and other search providers to keep your product detail pages within their index by providing unique, helpful, and reliable people-first content.

Add 360-degree images to products
If you want your customers to see your products from all angles, you can add 360 degree images to your Optimizely Configured Commerce site. This images appear in the Product Image carousel on the Product Detail pages of your site.

After configuring the website for Customer Products, you can create customer/product associations within the Admin Console. To assign customer products to a customer, follow the steps below.
Create a standard selectable configuration
More often than not, your enterprise resource management (ERP) system will already have pre-configured kits and bundles; but, for example, there may be occasions where it is necessary to do a permanent or temporary configuration for a monthly promotion. The steps below describe how to create a selectable kit and bundle Go to Admin Console > Catalog > Products .
Create a manufacturer
The values you add to the Manufacturer System List appear in the Manufacturer drop-down list for Brands on the Brands > Details finger tab. You can add a level to your Brands hierarchy by using Manufacturers.
Use the import template for products and related products
Using the import template is a quick way to bring existing product data and related product data into Optimizely Configured Commerce. The template is pre-populated with data columns representing the many product fields in Configured Commerce.
Subscriptions
Use Subscriptions to automate customer reorders, restocking, and similar activities. These order types are generated by the Subscription Products Advanced Module.
Add documents to products
You can add any number of supplemental documentation to a particular product. These could include more detailed product specifications, product safety sheets (MSDS, SDS, or PSDS), schematics, and so on.
Add content tabs to products in Classic with specifications
Specifications are content tabs that contain additional product information or data. These tabs appear on the website at the bottom of the product detail page, and can be customized to suit each product's needs.
Advanced Configurator
The Advanced Configurator is designed to configure a product through the use of inputs, such as radio buttons and drop-downs. Advanced Configuration can be designed on a single options page, or for more complex configurations with product sections, the options can be split into multiple pages.
Manage product variants
Product variants in Optimizely Configured Commerce are products with multiple characteristics or "variants. " This is commonly used for products that customers can purchase in various colors and sizes with each of these combinations resolving to a unique SKU or product ID, such as a toolbox.
Create swatches for product variants
Product swatching allows you to show visually display available product variants on your Configured Commerce storefront. For instance, you can use swatching to display the variety of color choices available for a particular product.
