A [connection](https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/33903147727885-Connect-to-data-sources) is a pipeline between Warehouse-Native Analytics and your data warehouse. This lets Analytics issue queries directly to your data warehouse. After [creating an application](docId\:Yw_87b_j464Dphu2AnfD_), you must create a connection to your data warehouse.

1. Click **Data > Connection >** **New** **Connection** on the navigation panel. There are four options to choose from: [Snowflake](docId\:NrFofMXy8jBehWzoNl2Rf), [BigQuery](docId\:qDEt1Hu7bvl9VTNgMFPKE), [Amazon Redshift](docId\:VLmPrPguUuEctczz-pYvh), and [Databricks](docId\:BM6A2lZCf_BUJeLPAAtUK).
2. Enter the required fields and configure the warehouse.
3. Test the connection health.
4. Use the **Advanced options** section to add any non-essential or custom properties beyond the main configuration parameters. Click the **+** icon under **Parameters** to add them as key-value pairs.
5. Click **Save**.
