This is a third-party integration and is not an Optimizely subprocessor. See Optimizely's [Third-Party Add-Ons & Platform Integration Terms](https://www.optimizely.com/legal/third-party-add-ons-platform-integration-terms/).
:::

Integrating [Tealium's EventStream](https://tealium.com/products/tealium-eventstream/) with Optimizely Feature Experimentation lets you forward event data from Tealium to Optimizely. This enhances your ability to analyze user interaction and optimize experiments using Optimizely's Stats Engine.

## Configure

To configure the integration, follow the [Optimizely Events Connector Setup Guide](https://docs.tealium.com/server-side-connectors/optimizely-events-connector) in Tealium's documentation. The connector automatically forwards events from Tealium to Optimizely, ensuring that your event data is consistent and available for you on both platforms.

See [Find IDs for API calls](docId\:uu6zmA5Bkeqsq84hqUmL3) for steps to find necessary IDs for configuring the connector.
:::

After configuring the Optimizely Events Connector, your EventStream data is automatically sent to the [Optimizely Event API](docId\:BQy35J-2Rou_0kPcXKtqq) through the [\`Log endpoint API\`](docId\:LHIwyTMwVE6kNISdESDTw). The Optimizely Event API handles and processes events within Optimizely Experimentation. It collects, manages, and uses event data for personalization and experimentation.

## Next steps

After configuring the integration, test the data flow to ensure events are logged correctly. See [Troubleshoot the Event API](docId\:twQQ18TqlkQ-PamsvWifE).
