CMP lets you see the work your marketing organization is doing, including the entire content workflow—from brief to finalized content. :::hint{type="info"} **Note** Opti ID is available for CMP. Opti ID provides single sign-on (SSO) access to CMP. See the [Opti ID user guide](docId\:HxcX2MfDtD6HsiYOAeV4V) for information about installing and adding CMP. ::: ## CMP user interface ### Home When you log in, the [Home page](docId\:jfBDuuMtfp20fLpcXI196) shows your current CMP instance (*Optimizely Marketing*). If another instance is available, use the drop-down list to select it. The Home page also shows your work, your team's work, items that you are watching, and your most recently viewed items. You can group activities by **Campaign**, **Due Dates**, **Owner**, **Status**, **Workflow Steps**, and more. You can access your saved view by searching for and selecting it from **Saved Views**. After you complete a task or a task step, you can save a copy of your content in the library, and you or your other team members can later reuse it in other work. Use the search bar to find applicable assets for a topic. You can view the status of requests and pitches and collaborate with internal and external writers to request, collect, refine, and assign content ideas for production. There is a hierarchy of how data flows among objects. See [Fields and inheritance](docId:9HH-i6Ab5HgltfmXT888v). - From work requests, you can create campaigns, tasks, and events. - Campaigns contain tasks and events. - Campaigns and tasks can contain assets. ### Tasks You can [create tasks](docId\:W7zf5eJAPZhHgHjzWK_m2) in CMP to accomplish your team's work. You can create a standalone task or a task from a campaign, **List** and **Calendar** views, **Marketplace**, **Library**, or **Work Requests**.  ### Workflows Use workflows to accomplish a task in an organized way. See [Manage workflows](docId\:z4qRq7wJIEQt3sS3PK_jn) for information about creating and adding workflows to tasks.  ### Campaigns [Campaigns](docId:8UYnEjnQ6qE-7LSSLMZtT) let you plan your work in CMP. Like tasks, campaigns have **Brief**, **Fields**, **Content**, and **History** tabs. In addition, campaigns have the following tabs: - **Activities** – Add tasks, events, milestones, and sub-campaigns here and view the list of work under this campaign. - **Analytics** – Lets you view the effectiveness of the work done in a campaign. ### Content and assets In the **Content** tab of a task, you can add content from different sources such as the **Library**, **Marketplace**, your device, or a non-gated website. You can also generate assets based on a description you input.
