You can export all translatable data from Optimizely Product Information Management (PIM) and reimport the files for properties, assets, categories, and products. Exports let you work with an external translation provider.

You can export properties, property values (dropdown, radio button, or multi-select), categories, assets, and product information for translation. Use the following steps:

1. Locate the properties, categories, assets, or products to export for translation.
2. Click **Export** > **Export for Translation**.
3. Make the following selections:
   - Select whether to export the **Properties** or **Property values**, if applicable.
   - Select the **Target Languages** to which you want to translate the content.
   - Select the type of **Records to include** based on your filters and preferences.
   - Select the types of **Properties to Include** in the export if you are export products.
4. Click **Export**. The export window displays in the lower right corner. Do not close the window before the file is ready for download.
5. Click the **Download exported file** link that appears.
