You can create, manage, and share lists with multiple customers from the Admin Console. This lets you target marketing efforts by sharing lists with one or multiple customers to promote products or streamline access to their most-purchased products. Customers see lists shared from the Admin Console on their **My Accounts** > **My Lists** page, including who created and shared the list. Customers cannot share, edit, or delete this list.

## Create a list

1. Log in to the Admin Console.
2. Go to **Marketing** > **Lists**.
3. Click **+ List** to add a new list.
4. Enter the list **Name**, **Shared By**, and **Description** information on the Details finger tab.
5. Click **Save**.

### Dynamic rules (recommended)

For the most efficient method you can auto-generate lists from custom properties and product attributes in Optimizely Configured Commerce from the Admin Console. This feature uses dynamic rules to assign products to lists and preview the products from those configured rules. Applying the products to the list dynamically ensures that the lists are always up to date based on the defined rules and require less maintenance than maintaining manually.

1. Choose the list.
2. Go to **Products**.
3. Toggle **Use Dynamic Rules** to **On**.
4. Follow the prompts to add your rules with one of the following types:
   - Product Fields
   - Product Custom Properties
   - Product Attributes
5. Click **Preview** to see all products matching the currently configured list rules.

## Assign customers

2. Toggle on **Use Dynamic Rule**. A modal displays for you to select rule types.

## Schedule marketing list availability

Marketing lists include **Start Date** and **End Date** fields that control when the list is active on the storefront.

- **Start Date** – The date and time when the list becomes visible to storefront users. If left blank, the list is active immediately.
- **End Date** – The date and time when the list is no longer visible to storefront users. If left blank, the list remains active indefinitely.

Configure these fields when creating or editing a marketing list under **Marketing** > **Lists** in the Admin Console.
