The **Web\_InventoryLowStockQuantity** Application Setting is what controls when the **Low Stock** messaging is displayed on the **Product** page of the website. The following steps show how to change the **Low Stock Quantity** threshold.

This is an **Application Setting** change and will affect all products across your websites.

1. From within the **Admin Console**, go to **Administration** > **Application Settings.**
2. Locate the **Web\_InventoryLowStockQuantity** Application Setting.
3. Select the **Edit** button.
4. Change the setting value to match the quantity that is to be the new Low Stock Quantity threshold.
5. Click **Save** button.

The **Low Stock Threshold** Setting is what controls when the **Low Stock** messaging is displayed on the **Product** page of the website. The following steps show how to change the **Low Stock Quantity** threshold.

When modifying this setting, be sure to use the **Configuring** menu, on the left side of the screen, to target the correct websites.

1. From within the **Admin Console**, go to **Administration** > **System** > **Settings.**
2. Enter **Stock** into the search box and look for and select **Low Stock Threshold**.
3. Change the value to match the quantity that is to be the new **Low Stock Quantity** threshold.
4. Click **Save** button.
