The order APIs provide the following capabilities.

- Manage (create, read, update, delete) shopping carts, payment plans and purchase orders
- Manage order components (forms, shipments, payments, order addresses, line items)
- Process orders:
  - Validate line items
  - Update prices
  - Apply discounts
  - Process payments
  - Adjust inventory
- Customize the calculations of costs and taxes
