Optimizely offers many options for extending solutions through different APIs, apps (also known as add-ons and integrations), and code contributions. Apps are developed and maintained by the Optimizely developer community. Understanding the verification tiers helps you choose apps with the level of support and testing your project requires.

The following types of verified apps are available:

- **Optimizely Verified Apps** – Products and features developed and owned by Optimizely and supported version to version.
- **Verified Technology Partners** – Apps provided by [Technology Partners](https://www.optimizely.com/technology-partners/) with a signed agreement. These apps go through the Optimizely verification testing program and are available through the [Optimizely Connectors Directory](https://www.optimizely.com/connectors/).
- **Community Developed Apps** – Developed by [Solutions Partners](https://www.optimizely.com/partners/), [OMVPs](https://world.optimizely.com/community/omvp/members/), or anyone in the Optimizely community. Available as open source in the [Optimizely NuGet feed](https://nuget.optimizely.com/) or on [GitHub](https://github.com/episerver/).

See [Optimizely Partner Network](https://www.optimizely.com/become-a-partner/) to become an Optimizely partner.
