**Note**
This topic is for Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) administrators, and developers with administration access rights.
:::

Go to **Settings** > **Tools > Search Configuration** to set the search providers for your site. This configuration lets you change the type of results the CMS global search bar returns. (For CMS 11, go to **Admin** > **Config** > **Tool Settings** > **Search Configuration**.)

CMS uses Optimizely Graph as its default internal search engine, which lets you access the following default providers. You can turn off a provider to exempt it from a search. Relevant search results are moved when appropriate.

- **Block provider** – Searches for CMS blocks.
- **File provider** – Searches for CMS documents.
- **Page provider** – Searches for CMS pages (including page content).
- **Jump to** – Return menu items that [IMenuProvider](docId\:plC-XfMOUYuVT_tOJMxuN) defined.
