Comments
Comments, the most popular and prominent social feature within a digital community, represent a means of collecting quick and concise user-generated content. Hierarchically structured comments are naturally suited to promote conversation, which lets you build and engage an audience around your content.
Define a comment
In the Optimizely Community API, a comment is represented with the Comment class. An instance of the Comment class is constructed with Author – The user submitting the comment identified with an instance of the Reference class.
Manage comments
In the Optimizely Community API, comments are managed through a service implementing the interface ICommentService . This service provides the ability to persist and retrieve comments that you define.
Extend comments with composites
You may need to associate additional information with a comment to support your application's use cases. A common example is the implementation of a product review.
