**Note**
Optimizely supports TinyMCE version 4. See the [TinyMCE website](http://www.tinymce.com/) for information on how to create the client-side code of a TinyMCE plugin.
:::

In Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) versions 11 and 12, the TinyMCE editor and related plug-in configuration features were moved into a separate [NuGet package](http://nuget.episerver.com/package-details/?packageId=EPiServer.CMS.TinyMce) as an add-on with its versioning number and breaking changes.

From version 2.0, you can no longer customize the TinyMCE editor from the CMS admin view. Changes occur through code.
