This method considers both exact matches (e.g., "[john@example.com](mailto\:john@example.com)") as well as wildcards (e.g., "\*@example.com"). See also [areBlacklisted](docId\:NI9iLiWOljZU7l0SojKka).

**Type**: boolean

**Parameters**

| Name         | Type   | Value                       |
| ------------ | ------ | --------------------------- |
| sessionId    | String | ID of the session           |
| emailAddress | String | Email address to be queried |

**Return values**

- true: Email address is contained in the blocklist
- false: Email address is not contained in the blocklist

**Code structure**

boolean isBlacklisted(String sessionId, String emailAddress)
```
