## October 22, 2024

- **Inline display of JSON results** – View JSON columns directly within the drop-down list selector in explorations, an improvement from the previous method, where JSON results opened in a separate window. Additionally, users can search for these columns using the search bar within the terminal selection, which will return all matching keys.
- **Rich text support for column, event, and dataset descriptions** – Import and display rich text descriptions for columns, datasets, and events from the data warehouse.

## September 12, 2024

- **SCIM provisioning** – Provision users and groups automatically with SCIM.
- **Count and percentage toggle in Funnels** – Toggle between absolute values and percentages in funnel visualizations.
- **Increased color coordination across explorations** – Maintain consistent colors across charts with improved legend color coordination.

## August 28, 2024

- **'Link all' controls in Dashboards** – Link or unlink all dashboard tiles simultaneously when setting filters or parameters.
- **Updated UX for easier setup** – Configure applications and connections with a sleeker, more intuitive UX.
- **Union dataset improvements** – Manage large union datasets more efficiently—update thousands of tables, edit metadata, and adjust column mappings in a streamlined modal. Auto-sync datasets with warehouse tables using schema watches that track changes and apply table filters.
- **Visual explorations deprecated** – Create custom explorations with the [Universal Exploration](#) template that has replaced Visual explorations.
- **All-new user onboarding experience** – Onboard faster with a checklist-based experience featuring guided tutorials.

## July 22, 2024

- **New dataset type: Column Actor** – Define actor datasets using a single column when no dimension table is available (Column Actor).
- **Full charting for SQL explorations** – Visualize SQL queries with [full charting capabilities](https://www.loom.com/share/41fdfb2293914593904ece38b7370eca?sid=eaf73f4d-82bc-4a07-b4cb-e5681784f66a).
- **Redesigned block editor** – Build and manage cohorts, metrics, and columns using the redesigned block editor.
- **New chart type: Pivot Table** – Use the new chart to view multi-dimensional table data.

## June 19, 2024

- **Increased CSV download limit** – Download CSVs with up to 1 million rows.
- **Rules and Alerts** – Set [rules](#) to monitor metrics and trigger alerts across teams and channels.
- **New Aggregate: Median** – Get an accurate measure of central tendency for various user and product metrics with the new [Median](https://www.loom.com/share/3aaf71ed23eb490b87379de991723a4f?sid=3f6e8211-aa4e-4e51-b147-e171f1e68fee) aggregator.

## May 24, 2024

- **Specify direct table paths in datasets** – Directly indicate a table path instead of navigating through connections in the source dataset picker.
- **New custom events creation workflow** – Create [custom events](https://www.loom.com/share/58193889d1b54b86a5de0ce3d056378a?sid=c5b8d31d-f076-44f7-99eb-6d7058fffa76) from the events page with a simpler, event-based selector.
- **Pasting comma-separated values** – Paste comma-separated values to filter large lists of values stored in spreadsheets easily.
- **JSON support in BigQuery** – Leverage full JSON support on BigQuery across the platform.
- **Drafts and Edits** – Save and share [drafts and edits](#) of Explorations with automatic cleanup after 30 days.
- **Improved shelf access** – Access blocks, catalog, and the parameters shelf more easily with the improved UI.
- **Distribution bins on 'time between stages' measure in Funnels** – Analyze funnel stage transitions using [custom time-based distribution bins](https://www.loom.com/share/0b9bbd4a561b46f58d18baf077b2c0e3?sid=175afc75-dbdc-4efc-85ee-ca12dd2cb3b9).

## April 25, 2024

- **Rich text tiles in dashboards** – Customize dashboard content with rich text tiles that let you customize headers, hyperlinks, text alignment, change text color, add lists, etc.
- **Beelines in event segmentation** – Use the [Show over time and Drill-down beelines](#) to toggle between showing and aggregating results over time, and delve deeper into the displayed results for more detailed analysis.
