This tour introduces you to the Optimizely Analytics platform. It provides a high-level overview of various platform elements and how to access them through the UI.

## Login page

When you go to the [Analytics web application](https://analytics.optimizely.com/), a login page displays where you enter your credentials. If your organization uses a different domain, such as `app.netspring.io`, go to that domain instead.

## Analytics environments page

After you log in, the Analytics environments page displays. This page lists the Analytics environments you can access and lets you select the appropriate environment. It is typical to have access to only one environment. Go to **My Apps > Work > NetSpring**.

## Platform home page

When you launch your environment, the Analytics **Home** page displays. The home page has entry points to access various platform elements.

### Search

You can access the search feature from the left panel. It looks like a magnifying glass and is accessible from wherever you are on the platform. You can search for anything by typing in a keyword using this feature.

When you click the search feature, a window opens where you can search or choose one of the shortcuts (**Create new Dashboard and Create new Exploration**). Analytics also lets users search through documentation if required. You can also open the search window using the **Cmd+K** or **Ctrl+K** keyboard shortcut.

### Sorting

All sections inside Analytics (**Explorations**, **Dashboards**, **Collections**, **Derived Columns**, **Metrics**, and **Catalog**) let you sort the objects inside each section. The lists are sorted by default based on the **Updated At** column, which you can change using the arrows next to each property in the list. When you click the **up** arrow, it sorts the list in ascending order, and the **down** arrow sorts it in descending order.

### Open in a new tab

You can open an exploration or any other feature in a new tab using the following shortcut:

- **Control + Click** (if you are a Windows user)
- **Command + Click** (if you are a Mac OS user)
