Configure the block with the following fields:

- **Measure** – Select if you want to see the users who were retained at an interval or churned at an interval. In the corresponding **of** field, select the dataset you want to analyze. In the **as** field, select if you want to see bounded or unbounded retention.
  - **Unbounded retention** – Measures actors that meet the retention condition on a particular time interval or later.
  - **Bounded retention** – Measures actors that meet the retention condition on a particular time interval, such as a day.
- **At** – Select the time at which you want to measure retention. In the corresponding **after** field, select **event** or **timestamp**.
  - If you select **event** as the value, choose whether you want to count the **first occurrence**, the **first ever occurrence**, or the **last occurrence**.
  - If you select **timestamp**, select a value for the timestamp.
- **Up until** – Select the cutoff time.
- **Condition** – Select the retention condition.
- **Time range** – Select the time range for the analysis.

## Output

The output produced by this block is the cohort of users retained during the defined time range.
