Consider a scenario where you want to calculate the total revenue earned per session, segmented by the **All Actors** and **Regular Watchers** cohorts.

1. Go to **+ > Universal**.
2. Name your exploration, add a description, and choose the destination folder.
3. Add an **Aggregate** block to calculate revenue as the first measure. Choose **sum** as the aggregator and select the **Incremental Campaign Revenue** [derived column](docId:1wi6-v9k1O0weCWNUPCsS) as the value. To rename the measure, click **More (...)** > **Rename**. For example, name this block *Revenue*.

4. Add an **Event Aggregate** block. Choose **Count of unique actors that performed event** as the measure and the **Sessions** dataset as the value. Select the event for which you want to measure the activity, like **View ad**. Name this block *Sessions*.

5. Add a **Formula** block to calculate the revenue made per session. The formula is as follows: *Revenue / Sessions*.

6. Click **Run**.

7. Add the following two [cohorts](docId\:qqERbaNW3LL9kPlSp27Lr): *All Actors* and *Regular Watchers* in the **Segment By Cohort** section of the [segmentation module](docId\:JSz8a3nY7QACN-zBBnufm).

8. Click **Run** again to see the segmented results.
9. Click **Compare to** and choose a period to perform a [period-over-period comparison](docId\:HDtWHMfCeR7T2WLF_v1zw) and see results over a selected period.

**Note**

You can set multiple [filters](docId:3xNkZyK2fRAbjZkOpLxm8) inside an event segmentation analysis. You can reference parameters inside filters to fine-tune your exploration whenever you create filters. [Learn more about parameters](docId\:DLSVbqdYLnOz4ZNbti4vX).
