The Quantum Metric remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector in Agent Platform brings digital experience analytics from Quantum Metric into Mark. Mark retrieves Quantum Metric data and insights so you can analyze customer behavior and answer questions without leaving your workflow.

:::hint{type="success"}
**Beta**

The Quantum Metric MCP connector is in beta.
:::

The connector gives Mark access to the same analytics available through Felix, the Quantum Metric AI agent. Use it to explore the data model, discover available data, reason over customer sessions and metrics, and build raw queries when a metric does not already exist.

The Quantum Metric remote MCP is managed by Quantum Metric. Visit Quantum Metric's Felix AI help documentation for more information.

First, a [Mark administrator](docId\:pe0pbUJveWrG8ewvZWDRE) must [Connect the Quantum Metric remote MCP to Mark](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej). After connecting the MCP server, individual Mark [users](docId\:L0Ntt9JQmG6fQIJK_Y7C7) and [agent builders](docId\:HOJ_6dibwNf8Qz7WMIDie) can log in to Quantum Metric to access their information from Mark. Administrators only need to connect the Quantum Metric remote MCP once.

## Connect the Quantum Metric remote MCP to Mark

**Note**

The first person to connect a third-party service to Mark should be an administrator of that service. Administrator access installs the complete set of tools, so Mark adds every available tool. If a non-administrator connects the service first, Mark installs only the tools that account can access.
:::

Mark administrators connect and grant access to Quantum Metric from Mark. After granting access, administrators select which tools to enable in Mark and optionally customize their display names.

### Add Quantum Metric connection

As a Mark administrator, complete the following steps:

1. Go to **Connectors** in Mark.
2. (Optional) Enter *Quantum Metric* in the search bar to filter the connectors list.
3. Click **Connect** on the **Quantum Metric** tile.

   ![Screenshot of Connectors where Quantum Metric is entered in the search field and the Quantum Metric card shows a Connect option](https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/BrbvVORKJ5iIeSMZye5kI/0KTvsCz7ovPvmQiLT6eS3_mark-connector-quantum-metric-connect0.png)
4. Log in to your Quantum Metric account.

5. Configure the connector.
6. Click **Accept**.

A confirmation message displays and you can close the pop-up window.

### Configure Mark tools

After you [add the Quantum Metric connection](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej), Mark prompts you to select which tools to enable and optionally customize their display names.

As a Mark administrator, complete the following steps:

1. Deselect any tools you do not want to add to Mark.
2. (Optional) Update any tool's display name.
3. Click **Finish**.

The Quantum Metric tile displays **Connect** on the **Connectors** tab for Mark users to authenticate with their personal accounts.

To update the available tools or names, see [Update tools](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej).

## Authenticate with Quantum Metric

Each Mark user and agent builder logs in to Quantum Metric individually to access their Quantum Metric data from Mark. User-level authentication ensures you access only the data your Quantum Metric account is authorized to view.

:::hint{type="info"}
**Note**

Before you begin, confirm that a Mark administrator has [connected the Quantum Metric remote MCP to Mark](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej). Until an administrator connects it, the Quantum Metric tile displays **Contact admin** instead of **Connect** and you cannot select it.
:::

To authenticate, complete the following steps in Mark:

1. Go to **Connectors**.
2. (Optional) Enter *Quantum Metric* in the search bar to filter the connectors list.
3. Click **Connect** on the **Quantum Metric** tile.
4. Log in to Quantum Metric.

After you connect to Quantum Metric, the Quantum Metric connector tools your administrator added become available in [Mark chat](docId\:dtNBEttEGVvkhNkwNypLM), [specialized agents](docId\:w7MSVijPnuFqu4nXDo_bq), and [workflow agents](docId:2HD0fUsIsfdek516VtN9l) .

## Quantum Metric connector tools

The Quantum Metric connector tools are available in Mark after an administrator [connects the remote MCP](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej) and you [log in to Quantum metrics](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej). The available tools depend on which tools your administrator enabled.

Visit Quantum Metric's Felix AI help documentation for more information.

## Update tools

To rename, add, or remove tools, a Mark administrator must delete the Quantum Metric tools registry and re-add it. To do so, complete the following steps:

1. Follow the steps in [Delete a tool registry](docId\:SXjD3qqg-0gS2g4KajfyO).
2. [Add Quantum Metric connection](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej).
3. [Configure Mark tools](docId\:P_zg1gqLxy89hHThFYuej).
