**Product Promotion** is an Optimizely Agent Platform agent that builds and configures product promotions from a natural-language prompt. The agent assigns products and variants and applies the promotion types you describe.

## Install agent

Install the agent from the **Directory**.

1. Go to **Directory > Agents**.
2. (Optional) Begin entering *Product Promotion* or use the drop-down list filters to narrow the list.
3. Click **Install** on **Product Promotion** to add it to your Agent Platform instance.

4. Complete the steps in [Get started with Agent Platform tools](docId\:kwJBoP0sJkzgoH9ZH2Lh_) to install and configure Agent Platform in your Commerce Connect instance. Skip this step if you already completed it.

If **Install** is disabled, ensure you have the [Required Optimizely products](docId\:wIBzRk88MtBYn0BUZbtXm) connected to your Agent Platform instance.

## Use the agent

In [Mark chat](docId\:dtNBEttEGVvkhNkwNypLM), enter *@product\_promotion* and describe the campaign you want to create. For example, *Create a campaign for Men's Shoes for two weeks starting January 27, 2026.*

Next, create a promotion under the campaign, select a promotion type, and add products to it.
