Export a skill as a JSON file to share it across teams, back it up, or reuse it elsewhere. Import a skill to add it to your skills list without rebuilding it from scratch.

Skills use the `SKILL.md` format, so they are [agentskills.io](https://agentskills.io/home) compatible. Skills you build in other Agent Skills tools work in Agent Platform, and Mark skills work in those tools.

## Access skills

To access skills in Mark, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to [Optimizely](https://home.optimizely.com/).
2. Select your organization.
3. Click **Mark**.

4. Go to **Context > Skills**.

## Export a skill

To export a skill, complete the following steps:

1. Complete the steps in the [Access skills section](docId\:fz5lUg7NrQV5klh9G9I57) to open the **Skills** tab.
2. Find the skill you want to export.
3. Click **More options > Export as JSON**.

4. Select one of the following:
   - **Copy to clipboard** – Copy the skill JSON so you can paste it into another tool.
   - **Download** – Save the skill as a `.json` file on your computer.

## Import a skill

Import a skill from JSON data, a file or folder, or a GitHub repository. Choose whether to add it as a personal or an organization skill.

To import a skill, complete the following steps:

1. Complete the steps in the [Access skills section](docId\:fz5lUg7NrQV5klh9G9I57) to open the **Skills** tab.
2. Click **Add Skill**.
3. Select **Import Skill**.

4. Add the skill using one of the following tabs:
   - **Direct upload** – Paste the skill JSON data, or drag a file or folder onto the upload area. Supported files are `skill.json`, `SKILL.md`, `.zip`, and `.skill`. To select a file, click **Browse files**.
   - **GitHub URL** – Paste the URL of a skill folder in a GitHub repository.
5. For **Create as**, select **Personal** or **Organization**.
6. Click **Import**.

**Note**
