**GEO Recommendations** is an Optimizely Agent Platform agent that runs a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) audit on any page. The agent then delivers a branded report with prioritized recommendations.

## Install agent

Install the agent from the **Directory**.

1. Go to **Directory > Agents**.
2. (Optional) Begin entering *GEO Recommendations* or use the drop-down list filters to narrow the list.
3. Click **Install** on **GEO Recommendations** to add it to your Agent Platform instance.

## Use the agent

In [Mark chat](docId\:dtNBEttEGVvkhNkwNypLM), enter *@generative\_engine\_optimization\_recommendations* and provide the following details:

- `Page URL` – Enter the full URL of the page to audit for GEO readiness.
- (Optional) `Focus Section` – Paste raw page content, a specific section, or a list of headings. The agent audits this content instead of crawling the full page.

The agent delivers a branded GEO recommendations report as a canvas. The report covers crawler access, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) signals, and citation readiness. It also includes a prioritized action plan.
