**Email Performance Comparison** is an agent in Agent Platform. It analyzes and compares email campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify success factors and performance differences.

- **Challenge** – Comparing multiple email campaigns across KPIs demands manual data gathering and analysis that slows decision-making.
- **Agent outcome** – A performance comparison with funnel analysis, trend detection, root cause identification, and optimization recommendations. The agent delivers the comparison in a canvas.
- **Value** – Faster identification of top-performing campaign strategies. This enables data-driven decisions that improve open rates, click rates, and overall email marketing return on investment (ROI).

Install the agent from the **Directory**.

1. Go to **Directory > Agents**.
2. (Optional) Begin entering *Email Performance Comparison* or use the drop-down list filters to narrow the list.
3. Click **Install** on **Email Performance Comparison** to add it to your Mark instance.

If **Install** is disabled, ensure you have the [Required Optimizely products](docId\:ug9nTEQ7Oe6qJqX_L96Fd) connected in your Mark instance.

## Use the agent

In [Mark chat](docId\:dtNBEttEGVvkhNkwNypLM), enter *@email\_performance\_comparison* and provide the following details:

- (Optional) `Campaign IDs` – The campaign IDs to compare.
- (Optional) `Transactional Mail IDs` – The transactional mail IDs to compare.

Provide at least one of `Campaign IDs` or `Transactional Mail IDs`. The agent also accepts natural language descriptions of which campaigns to analyze. It retrieves the relevant IDs automatically.

The agent delivers a performance comparison in a canvas. The canvas includes a multi-campaign dashboard, funnel analysis, success driver identification, strategic hypotheses, and an optimization plan.
