**Content Analysis** is an agent in Agent Platform. It analyzes existing content of a specified Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) 13 (PaaS) content type. The agent then produces a markdown skill for creating content of that type.

- **Challenge** – Content creators lack a documented standard for how each CMS (PaaS) content type structures its properties, components, and display settings.
- **Agent outcome** – The agent produces markdown guidance with JSON examples and saves it as an organization skill for the content type.
- **Value** – Teams create consistent, on-pattern CMS (PaaS) content and reduce rework caused by inconsistent content structures.

## Required Optimizely products

The Content Analysis agent requires Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) 13 (PaaS).

## Install agent

**Note**

**Mark Administrators**, **Agent Builders**, and users with the **Add, edit, and install specialized agents** attribute for a custom role can add agents to their organization's Mark instance. See [Add users and set permissions.](../../get-started/get-started-with-optimizely-opal-for-administrators.mdx)
:::

Install the agent from the **Directory**.

1. Go to **Directory > Agents**.
2. (Optional) Begin entering *Content Analysis* or use the drop-down list filters to narrow the list.
3. Click **Install** on **Content Analysis** to add it to your Mark instance.

If **Install** is disabled, connect the required Optimizely products to your Mark instance first.

## Use the agent

In [Mark chat](docId\:dtNBEttEGVvkhNkwNypLM), enter *@content\_type\_analysis* and provide the following detail:

- `content_type` – The CMS (PaaS) content type key for the analysis.

Select a CMS instance before you run the agent. The agent stops when you have not selected a CMS (PaaS) instance.

The agent returns the full analysis in markdown with JSON examples. The agent also creates or updates an organization skill named *CMS \[content\_type] creation*. Mark applies this skill when creating content of that type.

To use the **Content Analysis** agent in a [workflow agent](docId:2HD0fUsIsfdek516VtN9l), drag and drop it into your workflow. See [Create a workflow agent](docId\:KWaI2TBwD38sN7p74exoy).

## Details

These are the default details for the **Content Analysis** agent. After you [install the agent in your Mark instance](docId\:G_jyHs6UaXCVD_5YPDTQw), customize these details for your organization's needs. See [Manage agents](docId\:SSeNiblVMXwVvDR_lhtvI) for instructions.
